Register for Marconi Society Panel on Connecting California: From Community Perspectives to Funded Projects

The Marconi Society is hosting a series of state case study virtual workshops, titled A National Inflection Point: The Intersection of Research & Education Networks and Sustainable Digital Equity Initiatives.

This series of workshops, offered in partnership with CENIC and the Network Startup Resource Center (NSRC), will examine the approaches of different states at different stages of development in their plans to advance broadband access and adoption, and panelists will share directions taken, lessons learned, and innovations that might scale beyond state borders.

The first workshop -- Connecting California: From Community Perspectives to Funded Projects -- will take place on May 25, 2023 and will focus on California and its efforts toward creating the state’s middle-mile network, key strategies, lessons learned, and next steps in creating digital opportunities in the world’s fifth-largest economy.
